WebAug 11, 2013 · a lot of tractors have two clutch disks one for PTO one for the drive wheels. Did it stick from sitting if so some times you can put it in the highest gear and bump it with the starter, may have to bypass a safety switch or two temporarily. The disks themselves some times stick when sitting for extended periods. WebMay 30, 2024 · Engage/disengage the clutch lever and you should see the pressure plate engaging and disengaging. It won't be much but some movement should be visible. If that checks out, then you need to break the clutch plates free. In neutral gear, warm the engine until you have two bars showing. Then shut the bike off.

WebUnless you have misunderstood the meaning of disengage, there is nothing wrong here. With the cable disconnected, the clutch will be engaged. Pulling the clutch lever (and therefore the pulling on the cable) is what disengages the clutch. So, of course the clutch won't disengage when the cable is disconnected. WebMay 31, 2024 · Remove your cable at the clutch lever, go down to the engine, remove the clutch arm and rotate it one notch forward (or more, depending on where you put it back on). It doesn't matter where you put the pinion shaft during installation, it's geared (bottom) and splined (top) 360* at both ends.
